The Clarence Hotel, owned by the Irish rock band U2, on the south side of the River Liffey, provides sanctuary for the band members when they're in Dublin. 

The "Famine" memorial and the memorial to Irish suffering are two of many tributes to the Irish people.  The three photographs on the left include the Dublin Corporation, the home of Dublin government, a view of the Docklands on the eastern edge of Dublin and steam arising from the Guinness Brewery.
