After our Thursday morning presentation, we took advantage of the balmy weather and walked through Hyde Park.  Round Pond sits across the lawn from Kensington Palace.  The park provides respite for an otherwise frantic pace in London.  Joggers, bike riders, skateboarders and families with young children enjoy the park.  A flock of swans bathed in the pond.  This swan reigned over the other birds in the area.

After our leisurely stroll through the park, we caught up with other members in our group.  We boarded a double-decker bus and headed east (at least I think it was east) to Royal Albert Hall, the Albert Memorial, Piccadilly Circus, and a fish and chips lunch at Captain's Cabin Our sightseeing concluded with a visit to Westminster Abbey, the burial grounds for kings and and other famous Brits.
