There it is! The first time I saw the Eiffel Tower, I was standing on top of l'Arc de Triomphe. It's breathtaking. The arch is pretty awesome itself. Below, l'Avenue des Champs Elysees.
The Place de Republique Holiday Inn won the prize for best hotel on this trip. I climbed out onto our balcony and shot pictures of the Place. The monument in the center of the plaza is huge.
At bottom left is a bridge ornament at Pont Alexandre III. I couldn't get any closer without falling into the Seine.
